CHARLOTTE, NC -- Swisher Hygiene Inc. ("Swisher") (NASDAQ:SWSH), announced on Tuesday that it completed the sale of its Canadian operations. The Charlotte-based leading service provider of essential hygiene and sanitizing solutions, the transaction was made final during the third quarter 2015 for a purchase price of US$2.6 million in cash plus US$169,000 of payable items, for total proceeds of US$2.769 million. The difference between the sale price and the carrying value of the assets sold will be a gain in the third quarter of 2015.
