Edwards flips at Michigan (BROOKLYN, MI) -- Carl Edwards ends a year-and-a-half Nextel Cup Series winless streak by winning the Citizens Bank 400 at Michigan International Speedway. "Very excited, I mean I cannot tell you how, just how this feels, just how good it feels," said Edwards. Edwards celebrated with his trademark back flip off the window ledge of his car.
Martin Truex Jr. is feeling like he is on a roll after landing a second place finish on Sunday. "We've had strong race cars all year and we finally got that monkey off our back there about a month or so ago and we're finally showing what we can do," said Truex. Two-time series champion Tony Stewart finished third after starting from the rear on Sunday. He was also running a patched up car after a practice mishap on Saturday. "We all just kept working hard and ya know the logo on the dash said it all, one at a time," said Stewart. Casey Mears was fourth and Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished fifth on Sunday.
