Juan Pablo Montoya - Victory Lane
(SONOMA, CA) -- Juan Pablo Montoya felt right at home in the road race at Infineon Raceway on Sunday. The former Formula One driver conserved fuel to grab his first NASCAR Nextel Cup win. "I couldn't even believe. It's just everything fall into place. One of those days when you are meant to win whatever happens," said Montoya.

Kevin Harvick finished second for his third top-ten finish this year. "Our crew chief did a great job. Pitin' right and knowing exactly where we were on fuel mileage and you know it worked out for us today," said Harvick.

Jeff Burton ran third and emphasized the importance of fuel conservation in the final laps. "When the caution came out I looked at the laps and started counting them back and I went man, ya know, I knew we had to save, because I knew that was going to be, that was at or past our limit," said Burton.

Harvick's and Burton's teammate Clint Bowyer came in fourth, meaning all three Richard Childress Racing Cars finished in the top 5. Greg Biffle was fifth. Jeff Gordon worked his way up from the back but had to settle for a seventh place finish.
