(UPDATE) -- Teammates Tony Stewart and Denny Hamlin appear to have made up after an on-track incident two weeks ago at Daytona. Hamlin was running first, Stewart was right behind him and Stewart claimed Hamlin slowed his car, causing the two to crash into the wall. "He totally threw me under the bus in front of millions of people on TV," said Hamlin.

Their boss, J.D. Gibbs, pulled them aside last weekend at Chicagoland and it appears all is good now. "Every five, six months, it seems like, he kind of goes through a very angry stage. Evidently I set something off," Hamlin explained.

Stewart went on to win last weekend at Chicagoland, so all is good, but..."Tony is going to be Tony. He's always like that, not saying it's okay, but it's just him."

It seems likely that both drivers will make the Chase, but it does not appear that Hamlin is going to let the Cup Series champion walk all over him.
