(MADISON, Ill) -- As the Cup Series took the week off, the Busch Series soaked up the spotlight at Gateway International Raceway. Saturday's event was made even more interesting when Reed Sorenson took his first win in 61 races. "It's been a long couple of years in the Busch Series," said Sorenson.

The win comes just four races into a crew chief switch where Sorenson picked up Brad Parrott. "Since we hooked up four races ago we've been pretty consistent. We haven't been a winning car every weekend, but we've been consistently gettin' better." Sorenson is feeling more confident about his future. "There're 20 Cup teams in a lot of these races we're going to and we're really going to have to make our Busch cars like...put as much effort as we do in our Cup Cars almost. I think we are set up for the future, for the rest of this year to get better, and the start of next year."
