(UPDATE) -- Just two more races remain before the field for the NASCAR Nextel Cup Chase For The Championship is set. Defending champion, Jimmie Johnson, returns home this weekend for a run at California Speedway. He believes capturing another title this year is going to be touch. "I think this is going to be the most exciting Chase we've had yet, the most competitive Chase," said Johnson. "I think each year as time goes on, we all get better for the Chase and better prepared. This new format's making things a little more interesting than we've had in the past."

Johnson has four wins this season. He would like to add another one at his home track this weekend where he is ranked second in the pre-race driver ratings. Adding a fifth win for the year would improve his seeding in the Chase. "We've got a deep, deep field of competitors ready for a championship."
