(KANSAS CITY, KS) -- Rain and a setting sun cut the 400 at Kansas Speedway short. The race was red flagged twice because of rain. The race was under caution when it was called with 85 miles remaining. The gave Greg Biffle his first victory of the season. "I wasn't looking for that caution, that's for sure. It made me nervous. I didn't know how good oh-seven was on the restart. we'll never know," said Biffle.

The oh-seven is Clint Bowyer. He was hoping for a home track win, but had to settle for second. "I think we had something for the 16 on the restart. He kept gettin' into the wall a couple of times in front of me," said Bowyer. Like Biffle said we'll never know if Bowyer could have taken the win because there was never a restart.

Seven of the 12 Chase contenders finished 30th or worse, but defending Nextel Cup Champion Jimmie Johnson reclaimed the points lead with a third place finish. He had a good car for moving past a lot of other cars, but he admits it wasn't good for staying up front. "We certainly had the right car for traffic and I could make quick work of a lot of guys and get up in the top-five, but I didn't get enough time up there to make it right," said Johnson.
