(Photo Credit: Jamie Squire/Getty Images)(FORT WORTH, TX) -- Second place was not good enough for Jimmie Johnson Sunday at Texas Motor Speedway. He secured his third straight victory in a flat out Duel with Matt Kenseth. "Really at the end it came down to just a full blown brawl with Matt, in a good way. I don't mean that in a bad way. We both wanted that win really bad," said Johnson.

Kenseth settled for a dramatic second place finish, knowing that the only up-standing option was a hard, clean race to the finish line with Johnson. "We've raced together for a long time and I think he was probably pretty confident that I wasn't going to wreck him. We raced each other pretty hard. I didn't give him much room at all," said Kenseth.

Johnson's win and Jeff Gordon's seventh place finish move Johnson into the points lead and moves Gordon out the the lead by 30 points. "We gotta go put some pressure back on them and out perform them. Phoenix is a good track for us, so we go there and fight hard," said Gordon.

Two races remain in the Chase For The Nextel Cup. Phoenix and Homestead are the only tracks standing between another Championship for Johnson or Gordon.
