Jimmie Johson wins fourth in a row. (AVONDALE, AZ) -- "It's over." These are the words muttered by Jeff Gordon after his teammate, Jimmie Johnson produced a commanding lead in the Chase For The Nextel Cup with a win at Phoenix International Raceway. Johnson took the race lead for good on Sunday with 24 laps to go. "We get to the end of these things and somehow we end up racing for the win and last few weeks we've been able to pull it off. I just couldn't be more proud of the team, everything that's been going on, it's all coming at the right time," said Johnson. He has taken four in a row with one race remaining. After finishing 10th on Sunday, Gordon now trails Johnson by 86 points. Realistically, he believes his teammate has won the title. "Even if they have trouble and we still win it and we accept the check and the trophy, it's not the way you want to win a championship. We've gotten beat, bottom line," said Gordon. Greg Biffle finished second Sunday followed by Matt Kenseth who said the number 48 has the mojo. "There're so good. I don't know how you can put yourself in position to win every week. It's just amazing," said Kenseth.
