 Brian France (CHARLOTTE) -- NASCAR's Chairman and CEO, Brian France recently set the tone for the 2008 NASCAR season. "NASCAR is celebrating 60 proud years in 2008," said France.The institution's top series has a new name and a new car. The Car of Tomorrow goes fill-time in the Sprint Cup Series. "We're getting back to the basics. We're gonna try to minimize the change going forward as best we can." France communicated a message of embracing the past while being proud of NASCAR's growth. "Every auto racing series or league would like to have NASCAR's problem, and I can tell you that we are very pleased with where the sport is on balance." There are an untold number of developing stories this season and Racing Today is watching all of them. Get ready for an exciting 2008 season.
