Jimmie Johnson (UPDATE) -- "There's no need to put more pressure on myself than I already would," said Jimmie Johnson as he prepared to set his sights on winning a fourth consecutive race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It is only natural that Johnson might feel the pressure to take another checkered flag at the one and half mile oval. "The more I can rule that out of my head and not think about it and just stick to the basics and driving the race car and just trying to win the race, the better." He used this approach during last year's championship run. "I found this also at the championship last year. If I just keep it simple I'd stay in the right mind set and focus on the right things."Even though Johnson is a proven dominator at certain tracks such as Lowes Motor Speedway and Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Sunday's UAW-Dodge 400 is another race where the "new car" makes its first appearance and where it its equalizing force could have an impact. Johnson admitted that, no matter what, trying to keep the emotions out of the race car is a tough task.
