Last week's Auto Club 500 winner, Carl Edwards, said he's concerned about one particular force of nature at LVMS. "The wind is a factor and it seems like the closer these cars get and the more precise it gets, the wind makes a bigger difference," said Edwards.

Sunday's defending race winner, Jimmie Johnson, said Edwards had a good test session at LVMS last month and Johnson thinks the number 99 will be one to watch. There are four other drivers who rate well at Las Vegas, Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart and Matt Kenseth.
