Denny Hamlin

Since July of last year Hamlin had just about everthing but luck going his way. "We definitely have performed better over time. It's just that our luck has gotten worse and worse."

Hamlin hoped Sunday's win signaled an end to his frustrations moving forward int he Sprint Cup Series. "I mean I definitely feel like maybe this is a turning point for our team."

This week he felt like he had some momentum with the all important first win of the season. "To be back in the All-Star Race next year is going to be big for us. I'm just proud of this whole team for performing the way they do week in and week out."
