(UPDATE) -- If you are Carl Edwards, you love the new car in the Sprint Cup Series. The number 99 has mastered the so called Car of Tomorrow on the intermediate ovals. The latest example was on Sunday with his win at Texas Motor Speedway. For a driver who is normally not outspoken, he made it clear this week that he is fed up with the complaints about the new car. "It's not suppose to be easy for everyone. It's not suppose to be driving down the interstate and I'm tired of hearing people complain. The media make up stories about how terrible it is and all that stuff," said Edwards.

There were some opinions that Sunday Samsung 500 was the most boring race in the Texas track's history. "This is auto racing. There are going to be people that are faster. We are going to have days when we can't keep up because the car is too hard to drive. Somebody is going to win. That's racing."

Sunday's third place finisher, Kyle Busch, was asked if Sunday's so called boring race was an example of what can be expected on all of the mile and a half tracks this season. "I am not answering that question. You go to NASCAR and ask that question," said Busch.
