(UPDATE) -- Everything is clicking for Kyle Busch to succeed big at Joe Gibbs Racing. "The chemistry has worked. All the guys, they're great to work with and the guys on the team, the guys in the shop are very cool," said Busch.
The move from Hendrick to JGR may have been just what the doctor ordered for the 22-year-old driver. Busch holds on to the number two slot in the Sprint Cup Series standings after winning at Talladega on Sunday. "It is a great year for us. We've just been so fortunate to have great race cars every week." In NASCAR's three national series, Busch has won at a restrictor plate track, a road course, a mile and a haler, a two-miler and a one-miler. He still needs a short track win and he could get that this weekend at Richmond. "The 99 has been great on the mile and a half stuff and Hendrick has always had the short track stuff, but we've been right there with them battling it out." Busch has all the tools he needs for a Cup Series championship this season. "Everybody just is set out for one thing and that's to make Joe Gibbs Racing be number one."
