Denny Hamlin (UPDATE) -- Chesterfield, Virginia native Denny Hamlin wants to achieve one major accomplishment in the Sprint Cup Series. He wants a trip to Victory Lane at his home track, Richmond International Raceway. "That is in the woods in my hometown right there 15 minutes away. Gonna have a lot of friends and and family out there. Everyone knows that this is my Indy, I guess you could say," said Hamlin. He was referring to teammate Tony Stewart who is an Indiana native with two Cup Serie wins at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.Hamlin came close to a win at Richmond two years ago. "I thought I had it in my rookie year when I was racing Dale Jr. there for the win and that ended up being his last win." Hamlin wants that Richmond win this weekend, but he said he is not going to dwell on it. "Eventually it's going to happen. You just gotta be patient and don't let it get to you, because if you let it get to you, it'll definitely eat away at you." Hamlin is fourth in the NASCAR Sprint Cup standings this week. He also has the second highest driver ratings at Richmond.
