He got booed before the race, gave an unfriendly gesture to a Dale Earnhardt Jr. crew member, tore his car up on the wall and still became the youngest driver to win at NASCAR's second oldest track. Busch took his thirds Sprint Cup Series victory by winning the Dodge Challenger 500. Busch said he learned a good lesson from his father. "These deals don't come every single week. You've got to go out there knowing that you've got a shot, knowing that you're the best driver and knowing that you've got the best guys working for you," said Busch.

Carl Edwards was happy to finish second on Saturday night. He was not crazy about the new surface at Darlington. "Kyle had the fastest car. He was pretty unbeatable. To finish second and beat the rest of the field that's pretty good from where we came from," said Edwards.

Jeff Gordon said a third place finish was the best the 24 car could do. "We tried and tried and tried a lot of things and every time we... We got it a little bit better, but every time we tried to get it even better than that, we just went the wrong way with it," said Gordon.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. said he was not disappointed with his fourth place finish. "We got what we deserved tonight. We shouldn't have finished fourth and we did and I'm real happy with that," said Earnhardt.
