Three years ago he was the youngest Cup Series driver ever to win a race. On Saturday he became the youngest driver to win at Darlington. "It's good to have everybody looking at us and looking to see what we're doing during practice and everything and seeing and highlighting our name at the top of the sheet or where ever it might be," said Busch.

Lately Busch has taken on the role of the NASCAR villain. Another Cup driver who has had experience as a young top performer is Jeff Gordon. Gordon doe not really think Busch is a villain. "I think if he had his choice he wouldn't be the villain. I don't think he wants to be that. I know Kyle is a good guy," said Gordon.

The All-Star Race is this weekend at Lowes Motor Speedway. Gordon was the youngest driver to win that race in 1995. If Busch wins it this weekend, he will become the youngest driver to win the All-Star Race, beating Gordon by about nine months. "We gotta keep going. We can't let the competition catch up to us. We gotta keep ahead of 'em," said Busch.
