Missing Insurance Investigator's Body Found |

(FORT MILL, SC) -- A female body found late Tuesday afternoon in the Fort Mill, South Carolina area is that of a missing investigator with the state Department of Insurance, according to her employer. 44 year old Sallie Rohrbach was reported missing last week after traveling to Charlotte to investigate an insurance company. A statement from the North Carolina Department of Insurance confirmed the body found in a wooded area was that of Rohrbach.
Meanwhile, a judge rejected a request from Charlotte insurance agency owner Michael Howell for a public defender, saying he has the income to pay for his own defense. Howell appeared in court Tuesday to face a charge of first-degree murder in the death of Rohrbach. |
