Three weeks ago his All-Star Race win did not come with any points, but it did provide a lot of momentum for the number nine team. "From there on we've hit on some things. Kenny Francis and our cars are better. Everything is better right now and it just has a lot to do with everybody working on them, because I know as a driver I haven't gotten any better," said Kahne. He went on to win the Coca-Cola 600 and now the 500 at Pocono.

Brian vickers came in second at Pocono for his best finish since joining Red Bull Racing at the start of last season. "These guys deserve it and they earned it and really proud of these guys. Good momentum builder. Just gotta keep it up," said Vickers.

Denny Hamlin took third place on Sunday to move up four spots in the points to fifth. "We need to continue to gain over 12th place and if we can do that everything will work itself out in the Chase," said Hamlin.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. came in fourth at Pocono followed by Jeff Burton.
