(UPDATE) -- The number 18 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team is riding high with seven victories this season. Crew Chief Steve Addington said Kyle Busch was the final piece of the puzzle they needed. "I felt like that we were putting good race cars out there and we were missing part of the puzzle and never dreamed it would be like this," said Addington.

Addington said he knew adding Kyle Busch to the mix at Joe Gibbs Racing this year was going to put the 18 care in a good position in NASCAR's top series. "Ya know, I felt like we could go contend for wins week in and week out gettin' Kyle over there, but never winning seven races already. That's just crazy."

At the beginning of the season, Busch had no idea he would be where he is now. "Just gettin' use to everything was going to be weird, but its all kind of fallen into place and fortunately this year has been this year and if there's not ever one like it again, it's definitely something that we've got to cherish now."
