(WINSTON-SALEM) -- Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation has entered into a sponsorship agreement with the Carolina Panthers. The deal will make Krispy Kreme products available at all home Panthers home games for the next three years.
A variety of Krispy Kreme products will be available in multiple locations throughout Bank of America Stadium. There will also be a special Club Level Krispy Kreme doughnut shop. "As a Company that has its roots firmly planted in the Carolinas, we are delighted to partner with the very successful Carolina Panthers organization," said Jim Morgan, president and chief executive officer of Krispy Kreme. "Because we are actively looking for suitable locations to build additional Krispy Kreme shops in the Charlotte metro area, the opportunity to offer our unique products at Panthers games ties nicely into our plans for growth in the region. We want to make our products more readily available where our consumers live, work, and play." Krispy Kreme also announced the recent opening of two new smaller shops. One is in Winston-Salem and the other is east of Raleigh in Knightdale. The Company also plans to open additional locations in downtown Raleigh and Lexington, SC by the end of the year. |
