(RALEIGH) -- Affiliated Computer Services is expanding its call center operations in Raleigh. The company announced plans to hiring 280 people at its call center in Raleigh. Positions include call center agents and supervisors.

The call center outsourcing company is owned by Xerox.  The workforce expansion is necessary for the company to meeting increased demand. 

The company employs more than 34,000 agents in 150 call centers around the world. ACS employs already employs 3,250 people in North Carolina, including 1,100 in Raleigh.
