He drove to victory lane there in the fall of 2005. "It's a flat mile race track. I somehow run well on flat places for some reason. To only run at Phoenix for the years I have and I've gotten a win there, it's pretty neat."

Busch was going for a fall repeat at Phoenix last year when he got caught speeding on pit road. He learned his lesson about speeding on pit road. "We just don't need to have that stuff happen. It hurts us more than I think it helps us just trying to gain an extra hundred rpm running down pit road."

He is currently seventh in the point standings heading into this weekend's Subway Fresh Fit 500.
