(RALEIGH) -- Democratic Gov. Beverly Perdue is still not giving an indicate on whether or not she will veto a Republican written budget bill she has criticized.  House Majority Leader Paul Stam said he knows how the Governor is going to react.

"She has talked so badly about it I assume she will veto it.  She called it evil.  I don't know how you would sign something that you think is evil and if she does (veto the budget), we'll override her veto and move on," said Stam.

Perdue said Monday during stop in Asheville and Greenville that she is looking closely at the budget plan.  She received the bill on Saturday after the General Assembly approved the measure with a veto proof margin.
