You can spread some holiday cheer by making homemade holiday cards for veterans this holiday season.

They'll be delivered to thousands of vets in V-A hospitals across the country. Heather Loftin of the Battleship North Carolina tells us about the deadline for sending them in.

"We ask that they have them to us by December 14th because we do have an accurate count of the number of veterans in each of the hospitals so we'll separate those and then we have to have time to ship them out."
