RALEIGH - A pilot made a crash landing in Lee County Wednesday.

Ray Kelley, said he was flying from Siler City to Sanford when he overshot the runway at Sanford-Lee County Regional Airport near the intersection of Rod Sullivan and Ammons Farms Roads. He was the only person aboard the Piper PA-32 which was a total loss. Kelley was unhurt
