FAYETTEVILLE, – Testimony continued at the trial of the man accused of killing 5-year-old Shaniya Davis Monday. A former maintenance man at a Sanford hotel told jurors he watched Mario McNeill load Shaniya Davis into a car and leave on November 10, 2009.

Matthew Argyle testified Monday in the trial and said he said he saw McNeil with David in a parking lot at the hotel and thought something was not right.

He later spoke with authorities when an Amber Alert was issued for the girl.

McNeill is charged with taking the girl and later dumping her body near the Lee-Harnett County line.

Prosecutors have also charged Shaniya's mother Antoinette Davis with selling her daughter to McNeill to pay a drug debt. Her trial will take place later.
