ROXBORO -- A drug raid in Person County has led to the arrest of a teacher at Falls Lake Academy in Granville County. 30-year-old Cristin Elliot Fogleman is a second-grade teacher who was one on 90 suspects arrested in a drug roundup, following a lengthy investigation.

She has been suspended with pay, pending the outcome of the investigation. Fogleman is accused of selling drugs in her home in May, while her one-year-old child was present.

Person County Sheriff Dewey Jones says the majority of those arrested are accused of selling prescription pills. Jones told WTVD-TV, "Only thing I can tell you is that this was no different than any other buy. We had informants that could go out and make buys from different people...We had no idea who they may be going after. A lot of people view pills as not a dangerous drug. They feel comfortable and they may even do it in their own homes."

Fogleman is due in court in November.
