RALEIGH -- The ACC Tourney is likely headed to the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn in 2017 and 2018. Fear not though, says the ACCsports.com's Shawn Krest, the tournament will still be played in the Tar Heel state in the future.

Krest said, "It's not going to leave permanently. They're going to be going back and forth, and there will always be a base here in North Carolina. This is nothing unusual for the ACC, usually when they expand they do this. When they added Georgia Tech they started going to Atlanta every other year, when they had that big expansion in '03 they went to D.C. for a year, and Tampa for a year, and Atlanta for a year."

He says Greensboro will probably be the only North Carolina location where the ACC Tournament will take place, despite positive results from when it was held in Charlotte.
