CHARLOTTE -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say the case of a missing teacher is being investigated as a homicide. Thirty-one-year-old Bianca Tanner was reported missing by her boyfriend Sunday afternoon. Bianca's Aunt made a public plea on Friday for anyone with information to come forward.

Tanner's Aunt said, "If anybody know of her whereabouts, I ask that they come forward and give what information they can."

Police Chief Rodney Monroe says police have concluded Tanner's disappearance is not a simple missing person's case. Tanner's boyfriend said he last saw her when she left his apartment.
