FAYETTEVILLE -- Cumberland County Sheriff's Office says three deputies were hurt Wednesday morning in a shootout that left the suspect and two others dead, including a child. Sheriff Moose Butler said the shooter came back and fired on the house three separate times.

The shootout was reportedly the result of a domestic dispute. The shooter's father-in-law and that man's grandson were killed.

One deputy that was struck underwent surgery and was in stable condition as of last report.
