RALEIGH--A new list has put Raleigh as the second best large city to live in. WalletHub spokeswoman Jill Gonzalez says they looked at 31 different metrics.

She says Raleigh did very well across the board.

"It actually came in number one in terms of education. So we looked at the school system, the grade school city score Raleigh came in just about at the top here. And it's also the most educated city. And then we look at public education, college and high school as well," she says.

Gonzalez says the top five best large cities to live in are Austin, Raleigh, Colorado Springs, San Jose and Seattle. She says Charlotte came in at number 19 on the list.

She says the cities with the highest adjusted household incomes are Virginia Beach, Raleigh and Austin.
