RALEIGH -- There have been rumblings that Vice President Joe Biden may be entering the presidential race, as Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton continues to deal with issues such as the controversy surrounding a private e-mail server.

N.C.State Political Science Professor Andy Taylor says getting in at this late time would be tough.

"You know this is a guy that doesn't have to build name recognition, obviously, but he still has to deal with the realities of the modern American election process and build a massive campaign."

He says many of the key donors are already committed to Clinton, but Biden could be the choice if the Clinton campaign implodes are other candidates such as Bernie Saunder are not considered viable for the general election.
