(MAIDEN) -- A pastor in Catawba is drawing criticism for a sermon posted on YouTube where he calls for gays and lesbians to be put in an electrified pen. The video caption identifies the pastor as Charles Worley of Providence Road Baptist Church in Maiden.

"Build a great big, large fence 50 or a 100 miles long, put all of the lesbians in there, fly over and drop some food," said Worley.  "Do the same thing with the queers and the homosexuals and have that fence electrified until they can't get out. And you know what, in a few years they'll die out."  He went on to say that they'll die out because they can't reproduce.

Worley also condemned President Obama for endorsing same-sex marriage.  The sermon was reportedly delivered after North Carolina voters approved Amendment One which will define marriage in the state's constitution as between one man and one woman.
