RALEIGH -- Recently North Carolina's Center for Public Policy Research was recognized nationally for their analysis evaluating the state's efforts on metal health reform. And the Center Director Ran Coble told Don Curtis, on a recent edition of Carolina Newsmakers, they are hoping for many positive ramifications to come from this research.

Coble said they were anticipating, "More timely payments from the state to local hospitals to spread out these services more evenly. And also to, sort of, give an incentive to hospitals to take the tougher cases, not just the easier-to-fix cases."

According to Coble, their research has been implemented by the state to fix these issues.
