RALEIGH -- InsuranceQuotes.com has released a new report on car insurance variability. North Carolina ranked 33rd in the nation with a 12.1% variability.

However, as InsuranceQuotes.com Senior Analyst Laura Adams tells us, the variability nationally was lower.

"Across the nation we saw variability from the highest to lowest months about 8%."

She says the highest state is Hawaii with nearly 48 percent variability and the lowest is South Dakota with less than 2 percent.
