RALEIGH -- The storm system that brought snow, sleet and freezing rain to the state is expected to dump more snow on North Carolina today. Up to 3 inches of additional snow was possible in the southern mountains. The Boone area could get another 10 inches of snow. Up to 5 inches of additional snow was possible from Winston-Salem to Raleigh. More freezing rain was possible in the southeastern part of the state. James Bryant says his landscape services job means he has to clear away snow while everyone else stays inside.

Bryant said, "We worked all night, through night. And it's just part of the job. Mandatory."

A winter storm warning for most of the Tar Heel state expires at 6 PM, Thursday.
