GARNER -- Garner is looking to add a notch back to their local economy by placing a company on the site of the former Conagra Plant.

There was an explosion at the plant just over four years ago and Garner Mayor Ronnie Williams says they have nearly completed the cleanup.

"It's level property, everything is vacant. Buildings have been taken down or moved and the machinery has been taken care of so it is just open space now."

According to Mayor Williams, they are looking to host an open house on the property in Mid-December and have a company on site soon after.
