RALEIGH -- The head of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce says some decisions and plans made this year will pay great dividends in the future.

Harvey Schmitt says one of the areas' key job centers is part of what he sees as a bright future. "The Research Triangle Park has announced that it's going to remake itself and it's got this new, innovative center called Archie that they're trying to get built in the years ahead."

Schmitt also pointed to announcements by MetLife and Ipreo as other examples of the area going in the right direction.
