RALEIGH -- North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory gave a bit of a state-of-the-state address, and the Governor brought his cabinet members along for the talk. Transportation Secretary Tony Tata says the department's focus will be on the progression of House Bill 817.

Tata said, "As we go through that process, old projects and new projects, we will begin to see what comes out of that and move forwards into the vision, the 25 year vision, that the governor has."

The bill is aimed at better using transportation funding, and Tata added that the administration was looking to plan for growth over the next 25 years.
