RALEIGH -- A major educational policy announcement is coming Monday, according to the office of Governor Pat McCrory.

The Governor, as well as Lieutenant Governor Dan Forest, Senate President Pro Tempore Phil Berger and House Speaker Thom Tillis will make the announcement at Ragsdale High School in Guilford County at 10:30 a.m.

No details were given about what exactly the announcement would entail.

Teacher pay has been a topic of much debate in recent months and Governor Pat McCrory has made it well known that he would like to see teacher's salaries raised.
